Bob Botts for Banning City Council - 2006
Dear Banning Friends and Voters:
With the support of a number of Banning residents, I have made a decision to seek election to a vacant seat of the Banning City Council. The election is scheduled for November 7, 2006 and will be held in conjunction with the State General and other Local Elections.
With a more comprehensive Vision and a Plan, that outlines where we want to be as a City, we believe we can accelerate our progress towards those goals.
My Community Task Force and I spent many hours creating a Vision and Plan, that when implemented, will help in moving us forward to make Banning a better place in which to live, work and play. You will find that plan, and an Executive Summary on this website. You will also find photos we gathered (from comparable communities) of what Banning can be and look like, as we move forward.
Please also review my Biography outlining my business and economic development and leadership skills, and qualification that can help make this plan a reality. If you should want to volunteer to help in the campaign or make a contribution, please review those sections on my website.
Progress is being made in Banning however the Task Force believes that with a more comprehensive Plan, with very defined goals and objectives, we can accelerate our moving forward economically, atheistically, competitively, and educationally, thus improving the quality of life for all of us living here in Banning.
With a comprehensive Vision and Plan, my working with the other members of the City Council and Staff, AND with your help and support, we can make our City a better Banning that we can all experience, enjoy and be proud of in the coming years.
I ask you to vote for me on November 7th and give me the opportunity to work with the remaining City Council Members to continue to make Banning a better place in which to live and work.
Bob Botts
